About the College
Vidhyaa Giri College of Arts and Science (VCAS), Puduvayal, Karaikudi. A new college is being launched by puduvayal Shri Veerasekara Umaiyambigai Educational and Charitable Trust from the Academic year 2016 - 2017 which is affiliated to Alagappa University, Karaikudi. To Promote and enrich the rural youth with knowledge and skills on par with their urban counterparts is the major objective of the new objectives. The Landscaping ensures that the entire campus maintains a comfortable and good educational ambience for pursuit of higher education.
About the Management
Vidhyaa Giri College of Arts and Science will be managed by puduvayal Shri Veerasekara Umaiyambigai Educational and Charitable Trust. The trust members are business tycoons and established educational administrators. The Correspondent and Secretary Dr. R. SWANINATHAN is a well-known educational administrator. He has thirty years of rich teaching and administrative experience in managing successful educational institutions in Karaikudi and Puduvayal. He is one of the best teacher awardees by the Government of TamilNadu in the year of 2002 and is a renowned Mathematics Professor. He is a member in the panel of Mathematics Board Constituted by Government of TamilNadu. A foresighted visionary, he aims at contributing his might in the field of higher education.
